Some of this winters birds

Rattray Head

We have had a couple of visits to Rattray Head this winter. Rattray Head is on the Aberdeenshire coast between St Combs and Peterhead. It is characterised by miles of sandy beach and series of impressive sand dunes. Rattray Head light house is only a short distance offshore.

Sandend

A mixture of photos & videos taken around and about Sandend over several separate days. You can see why Sandend is a local surfers paradise. However picturesque, you wouldn’t catch me in the water there unless it was a good 25 degrees warmer.

Magical Mull

At the start of November 2020, we spent 7 days exploring the island of Mull off the West Coast of Scotland.

Mull ticks all the boxes; Majestic mountains, rugged coastlines, Lochs, sandy beaches and the chance to see a wide variety of wildlife at every turn.
